Elettroniche Srl (MAE), has been working in the precision electronic
instrument field since 1982. MAE is specialized in the designing,
manufacturing and installation of electronic instruments and dedicated
software configuration packages for a wide variety of inspection
applications and relevant data processing.
MAE boasts being one of the first companies worldwide to develop seismic
telematic networks. Over the years, it has spread its presence not only
in the domestic market, but also internationally, thanks to important
cooperation projects with various universities and research centres,
both public and private. The company is currently involved in some
important research projects worldwide such as the Seismic-Inclinometric
Network installed in Quito (Ecuador), and the 24-bit Digital Telemetry
Seismic Network (S.E.T.A. Project) in Tbilisi (Georgia), which are being
developed in cooperation with The National Institute of Oceanography and
Experimental Geophysics (OGS) in Trieste (Italy), and the Georgian
National Institute of Geophysics (IGEM) in Tbilisi (Georgia).
Besides its main activity in developing digital seismic networks, MAE
has always been supporting industry with the development and manufacture
of precision instrumentation and equipment devices for geology and
geotechnology, as well as for non-destructive inspections in the
engineering and environmental/structural monitoring fields.
MAE boasts a wide production of portable instruments, as well as fixed
working stations or stations which are integrated into a particular
area, tailoring instruments design and manufacturing to the client’s
specific requirements. MAE innovative solutions stand out for
ease-of-use, high-tech features, maximum flexibility, modularity and
expandability.
A training support program featuring training courses and thematic
courses held in cooperation with various experts and university
scientists, is constantly updated to offer in-depth knowledge on the
major geophysical and geotechnical investigation techniques.
