SETA SYSTEM SEISMIC PROSPECTIVE

The SETA SYSTEM seismic acquisition system has been developed through MAE joint venture with some major partners such as The National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS) in Trieste – Italy, and the Georgian National Institute of Geophysics (IGEM) in Tbilisi – Georgia.
The system consists of two base units, RX-16 and TX-3, which allows to create 24-bit digital telemetry seismic networks. The RX-16 Receiver is equipped with 16 inputs where 16 TX-3 transmitting units are connected and conveniently displaced on the territory to be monitored.

The RX-18 digital receiver is equipped with an RS-232 or Usb output so that both the data received and the condition of the transmitting units connected to the net can be constantly monitored via a PC.

The TX-3 AD digital transmitting unit, which is contained in a sturdy steel box, encodes and radio transmits to the receiving unit, located in the data processing centre, the signals gathered through the geophones. The connecting collectors are positioned on the front panel.
