The A3000ET equipment is an all-round
system for non-destructive inspections to investigate the structural
integrity of deep foundations, infrastructure facilities or buildings,
using the Echometric Test (IT) inspection method.
The system features a compact computer-assisted central unit where to
connect – according to the type of investigation requested – direct
contact transducers or a seismic sensor to be placed on the head of the
pile: this latter is used in echometric tests which adopt a
non-instrumented hammer. The A3000U unit allows to quickly and easily
determine the length of the foundation piles, where cross-hole tests
cannot be performed.
The central unit comprises an ultrasonic generator (two TX/RX
high-frequency channels), as well as all the electronics that supervises
to those functions such as settings, running and recording of data on a
built-in memory or on an external memory (USB type). Thanks to an
intuitive user interface, all the functions are operated through
navigable menus on a 6.4” LCD transflective display (touch screen).
An expansion kit, complete with instrumented hammer and sonic receiver,
enables to perform sonic tests on masonry structures. By means of
contact transducers (supplied), this equipment can also be used in
testing cut-off walls, girders, diaphragm walls or other infrastructure
facilities requiring direct inspections. The A3000U also serves as
laboratory analyzer to check screen tests, laboratory samples, materials
as rock and stone or plastic material.
The colour monitor allows quick and easy display and interpreting of the
information. If the “direct analysis” method is selected, each wave
generated by the built-in generator is displayed in full. |
